What to Expect:

The PRP/PRF Process

Step 1: The Blood Draw in the Centrifuge

Your journey begins with a quick and simple blood draw just a small sample, typically from your arm.

Step 2: Spinning in the Centrifuge

The blood sample is placed in a specialized centrifuge, which spins it at high speed to separate its components.

  • For PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma): The process is faster, isolating a high concentration of platelets and growth factors.

  • For PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin): The spin is much slower. This slower process allows a fibrin matrix to form. It holds and gradually releases growth factors over time. This extends the healing and rejuvenation process.

The longer, slower release from PRF means your skin benefits over a more extended period. It enhances natural results. It also boosts your collagen levels.

Timeline: When Will I See Results?

  • You may start noticing improvements 4–6 weeks after your first treatment.

  • Full results typically appear 4–6 weeks after your final session.

Patience is key your body is doing beautiful, natural work beneath the surface!

How Many Sessions Will I Need?

Most clients benefit from a series of 3 treatments spaced several weeks apart. Your aesthetician LeAnna will perform a personalized consultation. She may recommend more or fewer sessions. This will depend on your skin goals and overall condition.

How to Prepare for Your Treatment

To ensure the best results and minimize side effects, follow these guidelines:

The Day Before:

  • Stay well hydrated drink plenty of water.

  • Begin taking Arnica (optional) to reduce the chance of swelling or bruising.

24 Hours Before:

  • Avoid alcohol.

  • Refrain from taking aspirin, ibuprofen, or other blood thinners, unless prescribed.

If you’re on blood thinners for a heart condition, do not stop taking them.

What to Expect After Your Treatment

Your skin might feel slightly tender after the procedure. Here’s how to support your recovery:

  • Avoid alcohol, blood thinners, and intense exercise for 24 hours.

  • Any redness, swelling, or light bruising typically fades within 2–4 days.

Natural, Gradual, Radiant Results

PRF/PRP treatments are designed to stimulate your body’s own regenerative power. Because it’s a natural process, the results unfold gradually—but beautifully.

Your skin will begin to look firmer, smoother, and more radiant over time. The benefits will continue to develop well after your treatment series is complete.
